LGBArainbarrels

Live Recycled Art Demonstration
Friday June 11 - Saturday June 12, 10 am - 5 pm both days
at La Grange Village Hall.
Brought to you by Vulcan Materials,
First National Bank of La Grange,
and Powers Plumbing & Heating.

Watch a sculpture be created by artist
Jason Mack using recycled glass from our very own community.  Starting on Earth Day, recycling bins will be distributed near Village Hall where the community can donate their old glass.  Then, on June 11, the artists will create a colorful sculpture entirely from the recycled glass.  What was once a waste will become a masterpiece.
Walk to town and bring glass from your recycle bin!

It's Pet Parade weekend and the weather was just right for rain barrels but not so good for parades.  It rained cats and dogs!  Everyone took it in stride though and the parade went off without a hitch.  The weather is clearing up now so put on your walking shoes and get into town for the carnival!  We stopped by this morning and it looks like it's going to be fun for the whole family.

Did we mention how great the rainbarrels look?  They're all out on the street and we can't believe the overwhelming response we've received about them already.  Our sponsors and artists really went above and beyond in creating the artwork for this summer.  Did you get a chance to see some during the parade?  You can go to our barrel showcase and also vote for your favorite.  Get out and about La Grange and see them all!

Don't forget that next weekend is the Live Recycled Art Demonstration at La Grange Village Hall.

Artist Jason Mack will create a colorful sculpture entirely from the recycled glass
gathered from the community.

What once was waste will become a masterpiece.  Walk to town and bring glass from your recycle bin!
