The Rain Barrel summer event is a fun summer program throughout the village of La Grange, IL. Local businesses and organizations sponsor a rain barrel which is then decorated by an artist or group. All of the barrels are put on display throughout downtown to showcase the village, it's businesses, and the importance of water conservation. During the summer you can expect to see information and related events about the barrels and water conservation. In September, an auction is held to sell the barrels in the name of the Pets & Pals charity and other not-for-profit organizations.
